We build a dashboard around how you actually use your house. On your phone, on a wall tablet, wherever suits you. Then we set up the automations so the house handles the routine stuff without you thinking about it.
Solar and Energy Management
Solar, battery, EV charger and usage data all in one place. See exactly what you're generating and using in real time. We also set up smart charging so your battery fills up on cheap overnight electricity and holds it for when rates are higher.
Cameras and Security
IP cameras and video doorbells wired straight into your smart home. Alerts go to your phone when something happens. Footage stays on your own hardware. Nothing goes off to someone else's server.
Ongoing Support
Monthly and annual plans. We keep your system updated, keep an eye on things remotely, and pick up when something needs sorting. Most clients forget the system needs maintaining because we just get on with it quietly.

Do I need to be technical to use it?
No. We build the dashboard and automations around how you actually live, then walk you through everything before we leave. Day to day you just tap a phone or a wall tablet, or let the automations handle things on their own.
Does it still work if my internet goes down?
Yes. Home Assistant runs locally on hardware in your house, and Zigbee and Matter devices talk to each other directly. Core things like lights, heating and switches keep working without the internet. You only lose remote access from outside the house until broadband is back.
Why Home Assistant instead of Alexa or Google?
Off-the-shelf systems rely on someone else's cloud, lock you into one brand, and stop working when that service has an outage. Home Assistant runs in your home, works across brands, and keeps your data private. We can still integrate voice assistants if you want them.
Is there a subscription?
Not for the system itself. Home Assistant is local and has no licence fee. We offer optional monthly or annual support plans if you'd like us to keep things updated and on hand, but they're entirely your choice.
Will it work with devices I already have?
Usually, yes. Home Assistant supports a huge range of smart devices. Tell us what you've already got and we'll let you know what fits in and what's better swapped, before you spend anything.
Is my data private?
Yes. Everything runs on your own hardware. Camera footage, sensor data and usage history stay in your house rather than being sent off to someone else's servers.
What areas do you cover?
We're based in the UK and work across West Yorkshire and the surrounding counties, and we take on projects nationwide. If you're not sure whether you're in range, just ask.
